The Mojos are looking for one right engine paddler starting after the Island. Two of our guys just retired as they are expecting little Mojos in the next couple of weeks. We have just finished racing the last 4 weekends, and are now working hard to step it up for the summer. We practice at MCC on Tuesdays & Fridays 7:00-8:30. Babies don't arrive unexpectedly in two months. Mojos were recruiting women only at the start of the season. If these were expected exits why would they wait until now to recruit guys? Doesn't make sense. Something else caused this.

Why dont you go to their practice and find out then, instead of causing all this ruckus. Its their own team dynamic and their own team's business if they need people. Why bother looking for anything more?

Ahhhhh!!! It's horrible. The Mojos Reloaded is actually a secret government operation run by CSIS. They separate the males and females then proceed to brainwash us into becoming anti-Kyoto, pro-war, Stephen Harper groupies. They have been extracting our DNA with plans to clone us to create yet another DB crew of Zombie Stephen Harperites to be named the Mojos Revolutions (with plans for a trilogy).

I barely managed to escape with a fellow paddler from the camp by excusing ourselves to watch George Bush on CNN and ducking out of practice. If you see them at regattas, grab your children and loved ones and RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!

It's simple. Life happens. Two guys just found that they couldn't keep up with the workouts and practices with their new family commitments. We now have 13 guys and 10 ladies, but would like 14 guys. Nothing sinister here.

We do have some flexability with lefts/rights. Send an e-mail to mojosreloaded@hotmail.com with some info on your paddling background. You would be welcome to come out to practice on Friday night at MCC 7:00 - 8:30 to give us a try.

Yes, some men TODAY actually take time out for their new families. Too bad we don't live in the 1950's, but then again, there wasn't any dragon boating in Canada back then.

Good luck on finding new paddlers, but I suspect you won't have any problems. I've seen a couple of your paddlers here on the left-coast. They survived both Team Storm and Master of D'Zone (formerly known as Roli Canada) and still had extra energy. Don't worry, we'll send then back by air all intact for your next festival.

One weird thing about the forum this year is that there is either one paticular guy, or a group of guys, that have some serious issues with women. Is someone going through a bad divorce? Get passed over at work? Too much foam on your latte?
