The MOFOs are looking to assemble a starring cast for the second annual Angry Muffins crew for an upcoming local regatta (TBD) and we’re inviting members of our fine dragon boat community to audition for the role.

About the MOFOs

We are a renegade dragon boat crew with a bent for good humour, nekkidness and throwing great parties. We have a lot of fun, actively participate in volunteer activities as a crew throughout the year to give back to the community and flex mercilessly for the paparazzi.

For all the stigma and controversy surrounding our team, we are also a dedicated team that is rapidly rising through the ranks and we’ve been making waves in the community all the way to A-division since our inception a few years ago.

Fast Facts:

The MOFOs are a competitive crew that consistently places within the top 5-10% finishes at regattas

We enjoy extremely low turnover (1paddler a year), and have a strong core team of paddlers that have grown with us since the fateful day they first stepped in a boat.

We practice 1-2x a week, starting in May each year.

We’re looking for fit, like-minded individuals with good attitudes to shine with us, and if you’re looking to round out your schedule with an additional festival this season or are considering making a move next year this is an up-close-and-personal opportunity to get to know our team and our paddlers.

Paddlers of both sexes and paddling sides are welcome to apply for a meet-and-greet, and we will fill the Muffins boat accordingly.

It’s refreshing to see a team with a sense of humor. I'd miss the Mofos if they weren't around. I especially enjoy the glammed-up women racing in chanel knock-off shades and big hoopy earrings. That’s too fun.
