I was wondering the same thing. Is anyone signed up? Is there a list of registerred teams?

I thought about throwing together a team of paddlers at my company (would be all beginners), but unfortunately it's the same weekend as Montreal.

Does anyone understand that last post?

The fact that they haven't put a list of teams entered on the website, speaks volumes.

As soon as Lively got involved....you knew it was going to be a bust.

Well FMG is now doing Windsor, oh lord!

I can't see how any big name teams can possibly be going to this, especially with Montreal being on the same weekend. Most teams already had their regattas planned for the season well before this one was even announced. I can't see how they can expect a good turn out with only a month's notice.

University & College Teams $795 Canadian
Breast Cancer Teams Registration $795 Canadian
Community Teams $995 Canadian
Corporate Teams $1100 Canadian
Combination teams from two participating teams $500 Canadian

Kind of pricey for a Lively Event. Plus you have to pay for local accomodations? Probably not worth it. I'd save my $$$ for GWN.

But you also get 6 races. 3 x 500 m, 2 x 200, 1 x 2000m.

The "national team want-to-bes" will be in Toronto on the 21 st and the drinkers will go to Montreal. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

That's alot of races packed into a single day. They must not be expecting alot of registrants.

$995 and $1100 seems high

So, I hear that the event was reduced to one day and that there are only 20 teams attending. Good luck to Stroker and his/her best of the worst medal.
