ICF to still hold their own World Championships?

Can anyone shed some light on how the recent GAISF decision to recognize dragon boating will affect the ICF's ability to hold dragon boat races? I'd imagine that the ICF can still hold non-championship d-boat regattas. But it's quite possible that the GAISF would not allow two of its members (IDBF and ICF) to hold world championships in the same sport. And ideas?

GAISF and the IDBF aren't standing for it. expect the IDBF to take legal action.

unfortunately, no one in the world can stop someone from having a regatta and calling it whatever they want.

It's unfortunate. Given the recent decision by GAISF, ICF (and CKC) are simply starting to make themselves look bad and as organizations with a serious lack of integrity.

True, but couldn't the GAISF kick out the ICF? I'd imagine that action would do some harm to the ICF, maybe even at the IOC level?
