Just go to the EDBF site and read the write-up. It will make you appreciate how well things are generally run.

I'm surprised that there's still some of those carbon steering oars kicking around. Those things are garbage. They can't handle the stresses of a dragonboat race (especially a 2000m with turns). And the build quality is very suspect as well.
