Funny, I was at my physio therapist yesterday and she said there has been an increase in the amount of people coming in from Wii injuries. Can you imagine getting side lined from playing with your Wii (wee) too much... ha ha.

Ya becasue there's soooo many people that will buy that. Don't know if you have noticed but the far majority of people who ask what I do and I say dragon boat or any paddling sport outside of rowing they look at me like I'm crazy. As big as our sport is getting on the global stage we're still small fries. Maybe if we get into the Olympics and people stay up to watch at 4am being as no flat water sport is showen on prime time. Then maybe Nintendo will invent a game for the arm chair paddlers out there.

Dragon Boat wii, just need an adapter for 22 of your friends
-the drummer drums them in the air – or just drops them on the floor and yells at you as they don’t do anything anyways
-steers person moves his back and forth to steer, or uses just their wrists if they are good, pelvic thrusting is optional (must drop one wii down pants)
-everyone else has a top and bottom hand

C1 wii
- you have to balance on one of the controllers on the floor while paddling with the other. Watch out, falling onto the floor hurts more than water.

Outrigger
- hold one controller to the side as an alma, the other one paddles. Press the button to switch sides. If you dare ride the Alma just raise your arm while paddling.

Marathon
- just sit on the couch and keep moving your arms really fast for 4 hours. Hold both controllers over head to portage.

Maybe they could have a double controller for the annoying team-mate who's constantly telling you how to paddle, because evidently, he's doing your job as well as his, anyway.

And another model called the "Lilly-Dipper" for selected teammates. The controller is hollow, and so therefore contributes nothing, because it has no guts. But it sure looks good!

How are they going to emulate the bash to the elbow by the out-of-stroke teammate behind you?

Wii strapless

But the main requirement is that you can't use the strap.

This way the remote hurts you more when you hit the person in the head fron with it unlike a paddle hit.

It all makes sense now!

Dragon boat racing never be taken seriously as a sport until it is made into a Wii game, and it will never be a Wii game until it gets into the Olympics, and it will NEVER get into the Olympics without the help of the ICF, since they have all the Olympic connections and they only share them with like, their best friends.

So just as soon as Women's C1 and Mixed Kayak Water Polo make it into the 2088 Olympic Games, they can turn their focus on to Dragon Boat racing, and we can finally get our Wii game and the respect we so desperately crave.

Go ICF! We need the Wii!

Its armchair warriors like you that bring the sport down. Shut up and paddle.

Eliminate all armchair warriors

Oh

My

Gosh!

You're right! I never realized it until now, but I AM the problem with this sport! Why did I never see this, it was like, right in front of me!

But you know, I don't know about the whole "warrior" part of armchair warrior, but I'll go with the armchair part. I love armchairs. They're just so comfy. Without arms, a chair can just be soooo tiring. You have to hold up your own arms, you know, all by yourself. Not fun. But I don't like the warrior part. Make pancakes, not war. That's what I say.

But back to being the problem with our sport, I have a question. How can I shut-up-and-paddle while remaining on my couch or alternatively my armchair. This is important. Getting up can seriously tax my system.

And also, how do I cultivate the surly, greater than thou attitude that serious non-armchair warriors like you display so easily. I mean, you make it look so simple, being all churlish cool and mean-nasty. Gives me the shivers! Must take practice. I'll start now.

F#ck off, clown.

Good job you told them. I had no issues with your comments before. Last time I checked the season is over so paddle what? Ok grab a skate board and a short stick. Sit on said board put stick in paddle ready position and giv'er! you may blow out your shoulders but hey at least your doing what that idiot told you to do.

Nice response for a new guy. But listen, if you really want to irk them, just try adding a touch of sarcasm. They hate that.
