| Reading the old messages - thanks to the person who keeps bumpting them up -reminds me that people used to use either their real names or handles at least. The anonymous stuff is boring .
I challenge you all to use a name. (It's so much fun when you try to copy someone's writing style and spelling misteaks to post using his or her name.) |

Convenience of Anonymous
| Re: No more anonymous | October 6 2008, 9:46 AM |
Without a mandatory login and member ID, I'm afraid that you're challenge will be for the most part unanswered.
In some part cowardice, but for most part convenience. From a design perspective, the extra click and keystrokes represents non-value added work. Ppl will avoid extra work even if it is minute.
To make a case, how many ppl take the extra time to really scroll through and read software license/update agreements (like you should) before just clicking OK.
Someone needs the time to set up a forum that would be a good replacement for this one. Not me though. Too busy and lazy to implement it then try to convince everyone to use it. |

Oh my gosh, I never though of that. Other people could use your name! Thanks for pointing that out. That's a really good reason to stay anonymous. Liz | |
