| Does anyone know what happened at the corcom's? Who won, the times, a website that has it posted?

Did the races actually happen? CorComs have always been an attempt by the IDBF to generate revenue, with no attention to the quality of the racing. I hope that this finally dies, and the IDBF focuses exclusively on the World Championships and the Club Crews. |

I heard it was a terrible unorganized event. I would not be surprised if they lost money. If they continue to do events like this USA canoe/kayak will definitely have no problem moving ahead. |

The World Corcom & Breast Cancer Dragon Boat Championships, which incorporated with the Miami Hong Kong International Cup was held on April 25 and 26 at the Miami Rowing Club and less than 18 teams participated in the event. |

Is this event not oxymoronic? The intent of a CorCom is for teams who don't practice much as a team. However if a team wishes to win this "world class event" they would tend to want to practice more... Reminds me of the olympics for the mentally challenged on Monty Python. | |
