Poking the Dragon

Thought for the day:

You can put a good OC-1er in an OC-6 and they will do well in the OC-6

but you cant say the same about putting an OC-6er in an OC-1. Numbers can mask weaknesses in technique, strength and endurance.

Cheers.

Sometimes the OC-6er has good technique but lacks confidence in being in an OC-1 at first.

Was having a particularly mischievious day yesterday and thought that I'd do something to get a rise out of you guys.

How ever you paddle, have fun with it.

I would reckon that there are paddlers out there that don't know how to paddle well in crew boats.

What was the point of this? Maybe we could somehow designate things with the tag: "The same old sh!t you've been hearing for years". That way, those of us who AREN'T in their first week of dragon boating could skip right over it.
