Forum dwellers!

I have a dozen paddlers that enjoyed the spring dragon boat experience to Toronto Island so much that they would like to continue for the summer. It's a mixed crew, practicing Monday nights 8-9pm at the Sunnyside location (NDC). They're new, but they're dedicated and making big strides.

Please contact Joel Symons joelsymons@hotmail.com if you or anyone you know are interested in joining. If we get enough for a second crew we'll open that up and have fun races every Monday night. I know there are several teams that only do the Island, so if you know of any keeners that would like to join (or if you coach a boat that has hung up their paddles for 2009) please let them know. The goal is to attend 2 regattas, GWN on September 12-13, and another likely in August depending on numbers.

Thanks to those that replied. We've been contacted and picked up 5-6 paddlers. I just sent out another email and wanted to bump this up as practice is tonight at 8pm at Sunnyside Beach.

I just finished my season with the TD Team and I would like to continue my season with another team.

Could I please have some more information before I join though?

For example:

cost
length of season
do I need my own paddle?
