the Predators... wild speculation.August 17 2009 at 10:07 AM | Anonymous |
| Have we seen the last of this great crew? How many Predators will call it quits after Prague? Being a Predator during a rebuilding year wouldn't be a barrel of laughs. Big expectations. Certain disappointments.
Just a coincidence the Warriors are ramping up? |

hahah whatever. If it is true about the predators. Most likely whatever is left of the predators will join the warriors and will probably still be competitive. So who cares. Everything is cyclical. I guess you would have to admire that the predators will be leaving on top in ontario. Never defeated the last whatever years they were kicking ass. It would have have been cool to see somebody from Ontario eventually bridge the gap. (Hydros, CSDC, Chiros whoever) |

The crew will remain intact to a degree as long as Farintosh stays on. If he retires, then it is unlikely Predators will continue. |

It works both ways... if Farintosh retires, then the Predators will fold. If a large number of Predators move on to other activities, then Farintosh will not try to rebuild the team. I know the team as a group haven't decided what they want to do next year, and I'd guess that most individual team members are too focused on Prague to have made a final decision about their club racing. |

But then again, a nice way to go out, on top unlike so many sad sports stories.....someone else can take the mantle and build their own dynasty |

The Preds were 6-3 head to head against the Beasts and False Creek over the past two years. Those were their three individual losses since July, 2006. |

Since the 2006 CCWC or are you including that? |

Yeah, the Predators are pretty slow. They've lost about 1/2 dozen races. I don't know who would want to be on a team that loses 1/2 dozen times in the last 4 years! | |
