Dominance is a fleeting thing. I think only the Canadian Women's team can truly claim dominance, as they have been either at or near the top for the last five championships.

If you ever raced against them, they have always had an insane start. Not many crews can keep up with them in the first 200 - 250m. I've seen them on and off in person for over 13 years and they are impressive.
