Well, these aren't silver, but came with a caption of "why bike shorts are black".

Silver or metalic fabric is not very friendly in alot of ways.
To wash - it wringels badly - cant use the dryer - hang dry.
if left in a hot/bag - can melt or stick together and cause problems
with time - it will peel off.
its really not made for alot of wear.
Most dancers, entertainers use this fabric for stage us.
I know - I sew with that stuff - it doesnt breath or dry fast.
Not ideal for paddling but does make a statement.
