T-shirts

November 4 2009, 3:04 PM

This is not an intentional bump, but rather a quick reminder/message

If you are intending to pick up your t-shirt (or have one ordered for you)

Please register online within the next ten days (prior to November 15th) as I will be using the numbers from the online registration , combined with our in-house registrations to pre-order the t-shirts (which are included in your entry fee)

Those who register after the Nov 15th date, will still get a T-shirt, but it may be after the race date if I have to order extras.

runners

November 6 2009, 9:49 AM

We have had some really fast guys in the past

And I just got an email from a Kenyan asking if we would fly him over here and how much the prize money was...
I am not kidding on this one!

We usually get a few guys going under 1:10 for the 21km, and a small group (maybe 10 or so) who can go under 1:30 for the 21km

Ha!

November 6 2009, 1:37 PM

I haven't run it in years as always busy "running" it (good pun eh?)
usually I am the lead bike

Sometimes I would run just to pace the MCC kids when they were aiming for certain finish time

Currently I could only "roll" the course (and that is on bike and in person!)
