Parry Sound Dragon Boat Festival and Outrigger/Kayak races will be held June 12 in 2010 , for those who are super organised and scheduling already. Great beach , beer tent , prize money for the OC1 race and a schedule that allows participation in the Dragon Boat festival and the 14K Outrigger/Kayak race. Fish BBQ Sat. evening and a chance to do a DB practice in beautiful Parry Sound on Sunday.

We should try and plan for 2011 so we can come up there and race again.

This is a tough one. Do I want to spend the day on the trout infected waters of Parry Sound, being forced to paddle in a 15 km outrigger race with miserable scenery, or would I prefer to load dragonboats on the banks of the beautiful crystal clear lower Credit River in the middle of a summer heat wave?. It's a lucky thing you guys have given me all winter to make my decision.
