There will be some new teams forming towards qualifying for HONG KONG especially from OHDBC.

All the details are not finalized yet but if you are a talented paĆ°dler with the right dedication and attitude and you can commit to this level then stay tuned.

Either a miracle has happened and the top OHDBC teams have decided to forgo their own teams (and their teammates) to form a super team or this is just going to be a mix of the OHDBC teams who never had a chance.

WHY NOT

There is a lot of good paddlers spread over a number of good to great teams at OHDBC. If this is true then they could field two very good mix teams and maybe some gender teams. Could be very interesting.

One

Each club is allowed to only send ONE team per class. 1 Premier Mixed.

re: 12:18

probably meant this:

1 mixed in each of the varying age classes = 3 teams
1 open in each of the varying age classes = 3 teams
1 women in each of the varying age classes = 3 teams

totals for up to 9 teams not including Junior divs. There are plenty of senior paddlers which paddle in the premier divisions here in Canada.

So? Anything happening here? Or was this a marketing ploy?

It's definitely something that clubs have to think about. If a club like OHDBC is only allowed to send 1 premier mixed crew to the club crews, how do you decide who goes?
