Yes...I personally don't like the way Malaysia and China doing this kinda trading.....it seems so unfair...and hypocrite..
but I just can't believe Malaysian government are giving up on the 2008 bid so easily just because of China. So what if they got a 2006 asian games and 2008 olympic? remember South Korea? they hosted 1986 Asiad and 1988 Olympic too.....and it all went smoothly..
And I have a strong feeling that Malaysia will give up on 2008.....they just put way too much attention on the 2006 Asiad bidding.....but never do anything for the 2008 olympic...
they just mention they intend to bid...but no actions taken
hope they did not forget that olympic needs more and far more preparation compared to the asiad..... and i think they wont have the enough time to prepare for the proposal anymore...just bcos they pay too much attention on 2006 asiad bidding
and i surely like to see more countries bidding for the 2008 games.....so what china is bidding? who knows what will happen to china? maybe it will attack taiwan.....or earthqauke? nobody knows.and all these will maybe affect the bid.....
but i surely hope there will be some new faces for the 2008 bid.....and the best is a new country which had never hosted olympic b4 will get the 2008 games.....at least some fresh feeling for the ppl......
so..toronto...best of luck...and wish the games will go to an african country...or latin american.....no more american/ europe all the time...
