Fourth Entrance to Hurionia (The History of Owen Sound) written by Melba Croft,
Makes reference to 4 Dr. Langs .The first a Dr. William Lang arrived in Owen Sound in (1847)This Dr. Lang graduated from both London and Ediburgh Universities with high houners. He built a farm just north of Bothwells Corner. He spoke 7 languages. He married Susan Burnie They moved to Canada in 1827 and had 4 sons 3 doctors and 1 a druggist.
Dr. Christopher Lang (his son)was an outstanding surgeon,in Owen Sound.
Dr. Archibald Lang another son, practised in Sault Saint Marie.
