JAMES BURR (b.1819 Scotland)came to Canada with 2 brothers (William & Peter?) and sisters (names and how many not known). One brother settled in Fergus. James married ANNE FOOTE (b. 1825 Scotland)of Fergus. Settled on farm near Leith & raised family of 10. Son William married Catherine SPENCE, settled in Owen Sound. I have info on children & grandchildren, and alot of info on FOOTES. I need info on BURRS! If you have a BURR in your tree early-mid 1800's please reply. If you have a FOOTE, you're welcome to inquire. And if you happen by the ANNAN cemetary, please look for James Burr and tell me when he died so I can order a certificate, if possible.
