I am wondering if the above mentioned church is still in existance. My gg/grandparents, Benjamin and Elizabeth Hallock/Halleck were married in 1839/1840. Benjamin's parents were Rev. William Hallock and Catherine (DeGroat) of Elizabethtown. He was a Methodist/Episcopalian Minister of the Wall StreetUC in Elizabethtown. I am going on the assumption that Benjamin and Elizabeth would have been married in the same faith he was raised in. I am searching for Elizabeth's surname. Cannot find it in any of the paths I have taken in reseach. Their union produced Caleb, Lorenzo Dow (my g/grandfather), Mary, and several more children. Would appreciate any information or direction as how to go about finding out what Elizabeth's surname is. Thank you most kindly, BEV-MI
