I am trying to get information on the DOWNEY family that WILLIAM HOOD's son EDWARD W HOOD (my GRANDFATHER) married into. My GRANDMOTHER's name was MARY DOWNEY and she & the HOODS were from CANADA~~She was a grandma that I never knew as she died at CLARE,IOWA before I was born~~~
