I am back with a new theory. I have been researching gg/grandparents, Benjamin and Elizabeth Hallock of Meaford for what seems forever. Am mainly interested in Elizabeth's given name. It was first suggested to me that it was Dow due to the usage of Dow as the middle name of male decendants for 5 generations. Recently however, someone suggested it was Daniels. Would appreciate anyone's input on this. They resided in Meaford for a great many years and are both buried in Lakeview Cemetery. Elizabeth's passing was in 1888, Benjamin's 1892.
Would appreciate knowing actual surname, also date of their marriage, etc. Or any direction or suggestions as where to look. Thank you once again. Bev - MI
