I know it has been awhile since anyone has posted on the Belrose family but, two years ago I decided to look into my family history in hopes of finding some information. Well, I was not prepared for all that I would find. I have been lucky enough to trace my roots back to John Bateast(Baptist) Belrose believed to have been born 1793 and was married to Nancy Bonesteel (I also have info on Nancy's family dating back to the 1600's) AMAZING!. Now the two names mentioned most from Jean Bateast is Jacob and Michael, his two sons. I stem from Michlael. This clan is from the Menard dit Belrose family. I do have some records on the Menard dit Belrose family, which I won't include because I'm still trying to piece it together.

I have records on all of my 3fore fathers, including date of birth, date of death, locations, their children and one military record on George Wesley. It's a long list, but if you're looking for someone, I might be able to help.
