Searching for Sidney PIERCE, my great grandfather who deserted from the Civil War,while serving for Wisconsin. He was last heard from in 1864 and living then in Collingwood, Ontario. He may have had a brother named Frank PIERCE living and married in Collingwood in 1864.
Sidney PIERCE was born about 1830, and divorced after his desertion, leaving his wife and 3 children behind in Wisconsin. He very possibly remarried. Would appreciate any help in finding Sidney. Please e-mail me.
