burning with hose pipe

Could you burn a koi body with the hose pipe spraying into the pond?
I thought i mention this as, i did the sinful 'hose shooting' yesterday, trying to clean some tree leafs off a conner of the pond in which i couldn't reach with a net.Results, a koi with red markings near its tail.
