Did you add a filter booster to your new filters I have also just launched a 3000 gal pond. My dealer suggested that I add Biotool Filterstart( I added the whole tub in). So far so good readings are spot on I have introduced three of my biggest fish and have been told to leave it for two days before adding another couple more in. As the other have stated I also added Dechlorinator.
To mature a new filter takes time so it this may be a case of wait and see.
