I have just gone out to the filter house tonight and observed lots of white scales in the water tank on the protein skimmer, investigation finds that the 6 inch Gin Rin has been macerated through the pump impeller. Do you think that the filteration system will be able to succesfully breakdown this waste without any additional maintance on the system. I have now learnt my lesson , i should of fitted a guard over the water draw pipe end. Wife certainly not very happy with me, this was her fish...!!
