Have done more research on the most up to date equipment for a 3000gal pond for Koi. Suppliers in the know say. Go for bottom drain for gravity feed, if possible with air diffusser. USe a Nexus filtration system and when you can afford it an Answer retro fit. A sequence pump a 55 watt uv unit and a 145ltr an hour air pump during the summer. And finaly returned water by a veturi.....
I think I have all the answers Know. "O" and also no liner just blockwork with a fibreglass coating.....
Will let you know how it al turns out.
