The water out of the tap going into my water filter before pond is reading PH 8.7 and rising the water board show this also on the web site pond up to 8.2 has been stable at 7.9 I have coral in filters
I have heard that Irish Moss Peat in a pillow case droped into your filter chamber can bring it back down, is this correct ? Dont want to put chemicals in as we think I have had a problem with bacteria levels (culture developing at the moment)
I have also lost another fish the one that was on antibiotic jabs after his 4th one he picked up started feeding again and swimming around with the others gave him jab 5 yesterday as i thought he was strong enough to take the last 2 it knocked him back again and after 3 hours found him on the bottom just alive, couldnt revive him. This is one of them things i feel, you have to jab to get them well but it can go wrong, think that i shouldnt have give him his last dose as he was looking better. Still thats fish keeping for you.
