No offence taken, i was the same with my first pond, and from information i was given and read up on, i worked on the basis of turning the pond over once an hour, my pond is only 2000gallons so it is obviously easier for this size, and i also have a high stocking rate so the more filtration the better. If you were going to have a low stocking rate in a pond of such a size then turning it over once every 4 hours would be fine.
