do you have access to a microscope if you do just take a small amount of slime coating from you fish and look under the microscope and that will tell you everything then you can put in the right treatment from day 1 and cut out all the guess work within 3 days you fish will look a lot better think of how much money you waste on chucking in every treatment till you find the right one that works your local koi dealer if hes any good will have a microscope if he dont then hes not a koi dealer so dont use him any more because he will be guessing the same as you but i will say if its a parasite which it probally is then you wont go far wrong with malachite and formalin
