As a point of interest, I have still not managed to find out the cause of the noise but I have e-mailed Hozelock and they seem to think I need a new Rotor Assembly. Will give it a go. Very quick service e-mailed them at 2.38pm and had a reply by 3.30pm. Checked my receipt and the three year guarantee ran out in February this year.
