I used mine to dissinfect some K1 media i got for my filter, and i used my hand to stir it round, bad idea, it stained my hand orange for the next day or so, so try not to get it on you. The odd splash can just be wiped off but dont dunk your hand in it or anything and i always wash my hands after using it. To dispose of it i pour it down the drain, im nto sure how harmful it would be to plants or insects but i dont think theyll enjoy it to much so its best to safe than sorry. Could always check with the chemist for any other precautons but i think aslong as you dont get it on you, and leave it on, you'll be fine.
