I found this book very usefull.
A practile guide to building and maintaining a KOI POND
by Keith Holmes and Tony Pitman. Available at most koi outlets.
I would also take a look at the constuction pages on this site and the Q/A Pages. For more specific details just ask on here and someone will help you out.
