hi all, forgive my ignorance if i,m missing something, i have spent a year researching & building mt 2750 gallon pond, i have done all the things you should do, block built with box welded liner, 4"aerated spindrifter bottom drain, 4" pipework up to a 300 nexus with 410 answer, aquamax 12000 and proclear 55w u/v,return by inch & half pipework, also a certikin skimmer and filtertech 5500, i have gone over with the uv and filtration to avoid future problems , i filled the pond with no fish in it a month ago & the water is turning greener, surely it will go greener still if i introduce fish in 5-6 weeks? where am i going wrong? i have heard of sand filters being used alongside the nexus but 2k,s worth of filter should manage my pond no problem, any advice gratefully reieved, thanks, danny.
