This topic has been talked about many times before in the past, And the best quote i have heard for your question is this.
You will find people with them that have no weed, you will find people without them that have no weed and finally you will find people with them that still have blanketweed.
The first lot of people don't really know that their electronic controller does anything but they know they have no weed.
The second lot of people know that it's possible to get a situation where you have no weed.
The final group feel that they wasted money on another gizmo. Sadly this is where most people i know sit.
