Help choosing a beadfilter

by

Hi there folks, this is my first post!
I am currently in the middle of a few projects. One of them is having my back garden landscaped. I have constructed 3000 gallon pond (circular, 3m diameter by mearly 6ft deep). It just requires fibreglassing.
My next step is to sort out the filtration/pumps etc. Now this is where the problem starts: I have been to a few koi suppliers and to be honest i am no further in making a decision.
I have very limited space for my filters. One decision I have made is to go for a bead type filter. Each supplier obviously recommends their own.

The bead filters I have looked at are:
Polygeyser
Nexus
Beadmaster
Bubblebead.

I am looking to have the bead filter connected to a sieve but which one is best?
Which one will produce the clearest water?
Which is going to be the easiest to maintain/how often to backwash?
Which is the most economical? (on a water meter).
I have so many questions and not just on the filters but I thought I would start at the most important and most expensive part!

I just want to get it right first time.
Lets see how this new thread goes.
Thanks for reading this far, hope you can help.
Mark
