Hello, im somewhat new to the pond world. I've had a ~500 gal. for about 2 years now and I have some questions about some of then newer filtration systems out there (static Kalnes K1, nexus..).
Are there any websites that contain detailed information and cut aways of these systems? I am having some trouble understanding exactly how they work.
My next question is whether the skimmer should go through the filtration system. If i remember correctly, most of the pond descriptions on this website mentioned that the skimmer goes directly to the waterfall. Doesn't the skimmer collect most of the trash and debris?
