Blanket weed & Trickle Tower Technology

by

A while back I posted a reply to a question regarding blanket weed and suggested using a trickle tower. On that same post I mentioned how bad blacket weed is in my own pond this year due to winter heating and how I expected my trickle towers to get rid of it once the water warmed up.

Over the last few days, the water temperature has indeed started to climb and yet again the TT's have started to do their job. Already, the loose weed that was finding it's way into my brush chambers has dissapeared and weed on the liner is dying back too. It won't be long before the stuff dissapears for the summer like it has every single year since I started using TT's.

Trickle Tower technology is truly fantastic and if you have problems with blanket weed, I urge you to try one for yourself. It is a natural solution to the problem, doesn't rely on chemicals or biological formulas and never fails as long as the TT is built properly. You can even hide them and use piping to return water to the pond. They are truly miraculous and don't cost much to build either.

You have heard the expression "if you build it they will come" well where tt's are concerned there is another expression which applies just as the same, "if you build one it will go".
