well done some serious reading of this site on construction of ponds and most questions answerd but still have a few to go
Hope you guys can help
Im building an 8ft x 4ft x 4ft deep pond 1ft 6in below ground 3ft above the extra 6" is to allow for base
Q 1 ) if using standard blocks 9x4 laid flat down would i be ok to just put a 6" concrete base down and build direct on top or would i need extra footings under the base for the blocks to lie on ??
also would this method be enough for this type of pond ??
Q 2 ) as its not going to be a massive pond will i need to lay drinage pipes ??
Q 3) would you fibregalss or use liner on this side ?? as im very very near bierley hill home of mick the fibreglass man
if any kind person can offer me advise i would be extreamly greatfull
As noticed im a complete novice i can design websites i do vehicle vinyl graphics and shops but mixing concrete hmmmmmmm
lolololololo so should be entertaining.
I would get a builder in to do it but 3 have been an never come back or just not turned up hmmmmmmm
