Paddling pool?

Have you considered buying a kiddies paddling pool and transferring much of your pond water?
this one http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3681086.htm holds at least 4000 gallons.
Not a cheap option, but very easy and you will retain a vast majority of your pond water.
