i'm after some advice because i've had conflicting information. I'm about to render my pond using two coats of render (scratch and finish coat) I've bought fibres for the top coat but i'm unsure as to whether i need to add a waterproofing agent to the mix. i'm going to be painting the pond with black g4 (can't afford to glass it this time round) and i've read that the waterproofer will stop the g4 from sinking into the render properly. most places reccomend the additive. can anyone help please.
