What would be best for a 4 chamber with vortex, for the mechanical stage.I have placed a grid of plastic with 7mm holes in just above the vortex inlet.With the K1 above with 2 air stones,also with plastic mesh over the wier,to stop the transfer of media into the next bay.Would I be right in thinking that this will act as a macerator?.Or will my old set up of jap matting be any better or worse.Does the static way involve a tube with a series of holes in,from the inlet filled with K1 and air stone,any advise will be more than welcome,Thanks Paul.
