It is generally agreed that you should stop feeding at 10 degrees, and with an unheated pond not start feeding again until the pond temperature rises above 10 degrees in the spring. Even if we have warm spells before that do not feed.
In an unheated pond the air stones and aerated spindrifter bottom drain should be shut off. Assuming you have a venturi on the return from the Nexus this will supply sufficient aeration in the pond.
The airtech to the Nexus should be kept running all year round because of the Kaldnes.
