hi all well i just feel out with me kids as i have just put there swimming pool under the ground for a fish pond lol its 12ft by 12ft and 3 ft deep in the book it says it holds 1.823gal and (6.899L)i am looking to put koi fish in it but i need to know some answers 1st ok my bro went to a fish shop and asked the man what pump will i need he said for that size i will need a aqua shift pump LX1000 for £380 or if i want a bit better then get a modular professional filter system for £839.99 ok now this is a little crazy to me i only want to keep some fish in me garden me girls going crazy now lol saying no way are you going to pay out that lol you see i just dont no anything at all about ponds so i dont no if the man see me coming so i really need some help closest thing i have had to a pond is 2 gold fish in a tank and they died lol ok this is what i need to no plzzzzzzz
(1) what size pump do i need
(2) is the size pond i have got ok for koi
(3) whats a good make of pump
(4) and what filter do i need
