The pond I'm planning on building will be around 1300 Gallons and will have a submersible pump Yamitsu 9000ltr feeding the filter. The filter I'm planning on using is a Kockney Koi KF5000V Fibreglass Filter with a 30 Watt Pro Clear UVC.
I have already purchased a 3kw profi heater for the winter.
Will this filter be able to filter my pond effectively as I'm on a budget and would like some suggestions on filters around this price £250.00. Also whats the best filter media, would you suggest K1?
I’m also going to have an Hi Blow air filter with air stones, again a recommended size would be helpful as I’m new to the game.
