Decking Is It Safe?

I intend to use tanalised timber to cover my filter bay i cant get a straight answer anywhere - is it safe for koi? I am told that tanalith E the chemical used in treated timber is the modern alternative to the old treatments that contained arsnic. Please help Thankyou
