3 grand doesnt seem too bad, We have just had a hole dug 6.5mtr x 4mtr x 1.2mtr, all the spoil removed and the concrete base laid and the bill is 1500 quid already plus 500 for blocks and it soon adds up. If 3 grand is complete I would not complain too much cos costs soon spiral out of control as we are finding out
