I think I'm going to concrete in the bottom drains just to be sure.
To keep costs reasonable, I'm now considering the concrete collar method instead of building the entire pond from blockwork.
This will allow me to spend more on a filter system.
As the nexus eazypod is too small and the two koi outlets near to me are both using and recommending sieves and bead filters, I think I'll go down this route.
Can you forsee any problems with this ?
