My best guess is they be saving up for the Pepsi 400. Dave's speedway car is a competitive machine, and Daytona offers good sponsor tv time. Michigan is a long haul.
Bummer is that the field will be full up so there is not much guarantee of making the race. Maybe I'll do the 10-10-220 thing and call the shop later. At least try to find out where they are going next.
